This workshop will introduce more expansive definitions of gender and sexuality to encourage teachers and youth advocates to incorporate more inclusive PE practices. Participants will learn basic LGBTQ concepts and how to build environments and introduce activities that allow all young people to explore their social identities more consistently. Participants will work through scenarios, address individual challenges and barriers to implementation, and take away concrete examples of how to create more inclusive PE spaces.
